TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.The student agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined here, as well as those in the prospectus, application form, student handbook, and ICRI rules and regulations, which he/she acknowledges having read and understood by signing.

2.The student has reviewed the prospectus and course content and is satisfied. However, the Institute reserves the right to modify the course at any time, and the student cannot raise claims or grievances about these changes.

3.Students unable to attend classes due to conduct violations, indiscipline, or rustication will need to repeat the year and re-register. This decision is made by the head of the campus based on indiscipline or poor attendance.

4.By signing these terms and conditions, the student has officially registered with the Institute, which has reserved a seat that will not be allocated to anyone else. The Institute incurs fixed costs, such as lease rentals and salaries, which cannot be recovered if the student withdraws from the course. Therefore, no fees will be refunded under any circumstances.

5.All fees may change at the management's discretion without notice, and no reason needs to be provided. Taxes imposed by any government agency will be added to the fees.

6.In the event that a cheque is dishonoured by the bank for any reason, the responsible student will incur a processing fee of Rs. 1,000. Additionally, a late fee of Rs. 500 will be charged for each day the payment remains outstanding, beginning from the date of dishonour. Furthermore, if a cheque is dishonoured multiple times, the student will be required to promptly settle the remaining balance along with all applicable late fees via a Demand Draft. It is crucial to adhere to these guidelines to avoid unnecessary financial penalties and ensure a smooth payment process.

Post Graduate Diploma programs in Clinical Research, Healthcare, Logistics, and Aviation awarded by the Institute of Clinical Research (India) and ILAM are not recognized by AICTE, UGC, any other State Act, the Government of India, or the Government of any state in India.

8.This course is offered by the Institute based on current government policies and regulations. If there are any changes to these policies, or if the Institute's activities or courses are disrupted due to factors beyond its control (such as industrial action, government intervention, natural disasters, or terrorist activities), fees will not be refunded. The Institute and its personnel will also not be liable for any compensation under these circumstance

9.If any adverse government policies—through Acts of Parliament, state legislation, local governments in India or the UK, or other bodies—affect the awarding of the degree, the institute will not be liable for any "acts of God" or natural events. No refunds will be given in such cases. Legal disputes will be resolved exclusively in Delhi courts.

10.Ragging is strictly prohibited on all campuses of ICRI. Students will be subject to legal consequences as per the Supreme Court's directives.

11.The Institute is not responsible for students' performance in exams, interviews, or jobs, and it will not be liable for any delays by the awarding body. While it may organize interviews for qualified students, job placements are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance. The Institute also does not guarantee minimum salaries or stipends for internships or jobs.

12.The student has applied for admission to the Institute at one of the following locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dehradun, Ahmedabad, or Jaipur. By paying the required fees, the student has secured their enrollment at this location, where education will be provided unless changes occur according to the terms and conditions. Additionally, both parties agree that any disputes will be exclusively handled by the courts in Delhi.

13.The Institute is currently operating from the venue mentioned in the prospectus. According to the terms of the lease, this venue is expected to remain in use for the duration of the student's course. However, students do not have any claim, right, or entitlement to remain at the same venue throughout their course. The Institute reserves the right to relocate to a different venue at any time and without providing any reason to the students.

14.ICRI's policy allows for supplementary examinations. To take a supplementary re-sit, I must pay a fee of Rs. 1000 or as specified by the Institute. If I fail the re-test, I will not get another chance for a re-sit and will accept a certificate of attendance. Each student may attempt a maximum of two re-sits, with a fee of Rs. 1000 per paper for each exam.

15.All cheques and demand drafts for BBA, BSc, BA, MBA, PhD, and MSc programs must be made payable to “Institute of Clinical Research India” or to the respective university. For PG Diploma programs, the payment should be made to “ICRI Research Pvt. Ltd.”

16.The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, and students cannot take legal action against the institute regarding this. No verbal promises about refunds will be honored, even if a student drops out for any reason and requests a refund of the registration fee and remaining balance.

18.Fees paid to the university are non-refundable under any circumstances.

19.The tuition fee, once paid after classes begin, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

20.Taxes collected by the government according to policy are non-refundable.

Please note that all charges for books and study materials are non-refundable.

Code of Conduct and Regulation for ICRI Students

The student hereby undertakes explicitly to accept and agrees to be bound by these terms & conditions as contained hereunder and all the other terms & conditions as detailed in the prospectus, application form, student handbook, rules & regulations of the ICRI (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) which have been read and understood by him by signing these terms & conditions.

A minimum of 75% of the lectures at the Institute must be attended by the student. The student would not be able to take the tests for the course for which they have been admitted if they did not meet the attendance requirements. In addition to attending classes and upholding decorum and discipline on and around the Institute's campus, the student is also expected to always dress nicely and respectably and conduct themselves appropriately when on or near the Institute's campus. Failure to meet the attendance requirements will result in the qualification being denied.

3.The institution maintains the power to rusticate or reprimand the student for any reason, including indiscipline in attire, failure to satisfy attendance requirements, or failure to meet academic standards.

4.The regulations of the relevant university will be applicable if the student fails the relevant subject or subjects, dissertation, or thesis

Students must only purchase course materials, books, and other materials from the Institute for the courses for which it provides them.

6.The student during registration has been given the due dates on which the fee falls due and in case of any delay in the payment of the fee by the student a late fee charge of Rs. 500/- per day will be levied on the student for a period up to 15 days and in case the fee along with the late fee is not deposited within 15 days, the name of the student shall be struck-off from the rolls of the Institute and the student shall be debarred from attending. In case the student thereafter wishes to continue with the course with the Institute, he/she will be treated as a re-entry case and he/she will have to pay re-registration fee of Rs. 30,000/- along with Rs. 500/- towards processing charges besides the course fees as payable by the student.

7.In the event that the course is interrupted for whatever reason, students are unable to stop paying for it. Breaks won't be permitted until the Institute makes a written announcement.

8. 8.Transfers between cities and centers are only permitted under extraordinary and well-founded circumstances. The student must pay the differential fee, if any, and a processing cost of Rs. 1,000 (one thousand only).

9. 9.For a variety of student infractions, the Institute retains the power to impose a fine; the amount of the fine will be determined by the Institute.

10. All course materials, whether digital or not, are protected by copyright, and it is illegal to publish anything other than for personal reading or study.

11.Any and all conflicts fall under the Delhi courts' jurisdiction.

12.To access the library and electronic reading materials, as well as to turn in assignments, projects, and other materials, the student will make arrangements to buy a personal laptop or other appropriate electronic device with wi-fi coverage. All pupils must have this kind of device; if they don't, they will lose out on learning opportunities and potential tests, and the school won't be held accountable.

13.Students are not permitted to use their phones or any other electronic device for personal use.

14. Students must make a payment for the items and face consequences, like a fine or suspension, if they are caught using foul language against instructors, one another, or engaging in any other aggressive behavior. In the event of rustication, there will be no reimbursement of fees.
